Company Description
We welcome the investors to assisi to knit together and help a vast range of social problems.
At Assisi, working towards the betterment of the society has always been a way of life. We are actively involved in fulfilling our responsibilities, be it towards environmental or social causes. Our endeavours towards being a corporate citizen have been recognized not just in India but globally as well.
Dedicating ourselves to the rehabilitation of the underprivileged has always been our prime concern. Assisi runs schools for the deaf, dumb & blind and homes for the aged and orphans across the country and a hospital for those afflicted by leprosy. By using chemicals and fertilizers in cultivation stand affected people. This has been among the one of the reasons for us to not only commit ourselves to organic production but also establish a dedicated Cancer hospital to treat such patients. Concerned about the rapid growth of HIV-AIDS in the country, we have set up a HIV treatment centre.
Within Assisi Garments, we work towards women’s empowerment, enabling them to have a better quality of life. So far, more than 1500 women workers have benefited from our pro-women schemes and the smiles on their faces make our efforts truly worthwhile…
